Wartburg College to offer graduate leadership certificate
Wartburg College plans to launch a graduate certificate program in leadership, with the first cohort beginning this summer. The yearlong certificate program, which follows in the footsteps of the college’s successful leadership minor, was designed specifically for working professionals. The program will be offered entirely online, except for two brief on-campus summer residencies in Waverly at the start and end of the program. “I think this cohort model, with its bookending residencies, will allow participants to develop interpersonal relationships resulting in vulnerability and authenticity among the students,” said Michael Gleason, the Irving R. Burling Distinguished Professor in Leadership. Each of the courses will be taken one at a time to honor the busy schedules of most adult learners. For more information, visit the program page here.
