The World Food Prize Foundation has opened registration for the 2026 Norman E. Borlaug International Dialogue, scheduled for Oct. 20–22 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, under the theme “Before Hunger Wins.” The event marks the 40th anniversary of the World Food Prize and will convene leaders to address hunger challenges including conflict, climate volatility and deepening inequality. The event will feature policymakers, scientists, business leaders and nonprofit executives, including agriculture ministers from Malawi and Liberia and multiple World Food Prize laureates. Outside of mainstage programming, the event includes a networking opportunity called “Meet Me at the Dialogue,” partner-led side events, exhibit showcases and private meeting spaces, all designed to foster collaboration and highlight solutions in global food security.
