The World Food Prize Foundation will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Norman E. Borlaug Hall of Laureates with a casino-themed Spring Gala on Friday, May 15, at its historic downtown Des Moines headquarters. According to the foundation, all funding raised at the gala will support preservation of the Hall of Laureates and advance its mission to transform the global food system. The event will feature a VIP garden cocktail reception followed by casino games such as blackjack, craps, roulette and poker, along with a silent auction, live entertainment and dancing.
