A poll released this week by Yale Program on Climate Change Communication found that a majority of U.S. registered voters support limits on carbon emissions from coal plants and other sources. More than two-thirds of the 1,304 respondents in the web-based poll supported strict limits to reduce global warming and to protect public health. The margin of error was plus or minus 3 percentage points.
