The Young Women’s Resource Center is accepting nominations for its annual Louise Noun Visionary Woman Award, which honors local leaders who have made significant contributions toward empowering girls and young women. The award is named after feminist and philanthropist Louise Noun, who founded the YWRC in 1978. Previous women honored include Roxanne Conlin, Susan Knapp, Deborah Ann Turner and Deidre DeJear. Nominations are due by Dec. 31. More information about nomination criteria can be found here. The awardee will receive the award and deliver a speech at the YWRC Gala on April 27, 2021.
