Zwanziger joins Kraus-Anderson as business development director

Kraus-Anderson is a commercial general contractor and construction manager with expertise in health care, K-12 education, housing, data centers and government services. It opened its Des Moines office in 2024 to grow its footprint in the Midwest.
According to a news release, Zwanziger brings more than 25 years of business leadership in the Des Moines market, including building renovation, community development, energy efficiency and facilities strategy.
She previously served as president of the Indianola Chamber of Commerce and operated her own firm, RightHand LLC, where she advised organizations on growth strategies, facility assessments and capital improvement planning.
According to her LinkedIn page, Zwanziger is also a professional speaker and coach, worked for the Waldinger Corp. and served as special adviser to the director at the Iowa Business for Clean Energy.
She also has served on the board of the Greater Des Moines Partnership and chaired the Association of Business and Industry Foundation’s Leadership Board of Governors.
Zwanziger also co-founded 100 Women Who Care Indianola, and founded the Paralyzed Movement, which is focused on personal transformation and purpose-driven leadership, the news release states.
