16 Iowans apply to be on Court of Appeals

98 wordsAll Latest News, Government Policy and LawSixteen Iowans have applied to be considered to fill a vacancy on the Iowa Court of Appeals created by the retirement of Judge Anuradha Vaithaeswaran. The State Judicial Nominating Commission will meet on July 14 in the Iowa Supreme Court courtroom at the Judicial Branch Building to interview the applicants. Immediately following the interviews, the commission will meet to begin deciding a slate of five nominees from the applicants to send to Gov.
