Iowa Travel Industry Partners has announced the recipients of the annual iTIP Foundation Awards. The awards ceremony will take place at the association’s annual meeting on June 10 in Winterset. The iTIP Awards are open to all individuals and organizations offering a tourism or hospitality service in Iowa. Among the list of award recipients are three from the Des Moines area. The Principal Charity Classic received the large market sustainability initiative award. Kim Grzywacz from CIT Signature Transportation received the Partner of the Year Award and Greg Edwards, president and CEO of Catch Des Moines, received the Joe Taylor Vision Award. “These awards recognize the very best of Iowa’s tourism and hospitality sector – from visionary leaders to unique local attractions and innovative sustainability efforts,” Dave Herrell, president of the iTIP board of directors and president and CEO of Visit Quad Cities, said in a statement.
