The 39th annual Summer Iowa Games will be July 11–20 in Ames and surrounding communities. Open to athletes of all ages and skill levels from Iowa and nearby states, the event features a wide range of sports and competitions. In addition to the competitions, an opening ceremony and athlete tailgate will be held on July 18, at Reiman Plaza, beginning at 4:30 p.m. For more information or to register, visit the Iowa Games website.
