The Iowa Economic Development Authority awarded $4.1 million in Community Development Block Grant funds for community water and sewer infrastructure projects, the IEDA announced last week. IEDA received 14 applications totaling $5 million in funding requests, and awarded based on the benefit to low- and moderate-income persons, financial need, project impact and the readiness of local resources to the project, it said.
