Bands Wilco and Weezer will headline the eighth annual 80/35 music festival, the Greater Des Moines Music Coalition announced today. The event will take place July 10-11 in Western Gateway Park. Wilco, a Chicago alt-rock band, will perform on July 10. Joining the band on that Friday will be indie rock songstress Jenny Lewis, synth-pop outfit St. Lucia, and Brooklyn rap veteran Talib Kweli. Rock veterans Weezer will perform Saturday, joining hip-hop duo Run The Jewels, old-school funk band Lettuce, and indie rockers Cloud Nothings.
