9/11 ceremony at Homesteaders today
Homesteaders Life Co. will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks with a brief ceremony today at the site of the 2006 Healing Field of Central Iowa.
Homesteaders organized the Healing Field on the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States, and more than 30,000 people visited the site from 25 states and five countries. Today’s event takes place from 12:30-1 p.m. at 5700 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines.
