UnityPoint Health-Des Moines is seeking young professionals to serve on its Young Advisory Council. The group was formed in 2017 to engage young professionals in Central Iowa with UnityPoint Health-Des Moines board members and senior leaders to expand the organization’s knowledge of the community’s growing needs. Projections show that 20 percent of the Central Iowa population will be between the ages of 20 and 34 by 2019. Members meet on a monthly basis and are encouraged to serve a minimum of two years; people between the ages of 22 and 40 and from diverse backgrounds and professions are encouraged to apply.
