IWCC board member to chair national organization
The Association of Community College Trustees has elected Connie Hornbeck as the 2019 board chair. The nonprofit educational association of governing boards represents more than 6,500 elected and appointed trustees who govern more than 1,200 community, technical and junior colleges. Hornbeck, a small-business owner from Logan, Iowa, has been a trustee of Iowa Western Community College for 23 years and an IACCT board member for 14 years.
