ChildServe honors Prairie Meadows, John and Jill Lundberg

ChildServe, a pediatric specialty health care nonprofit, has named Prairie Meadows and Jill Lundberg and her husband, the late John Lundberg, as the 2020 ChildServe Champions. The award recognizes the organization’s most devoted supporters for advancing the mission through generosity, service and inspiring others to action. Prairie Meadows ranks among ChildServe’s top 10 cumulative donors, with giving totaling more than $1.2 million since 1997. In ChildServe’s recently completed Forward Together campaign, Prairie Meadows’ $500,000 gift was the largest in its giving history to ChildServe and will go to support a new state-of-the-art pediatric rehabilitation unit. The Lundbergs began supporting ChildServe’s efforts more than two decades ago after seeing the care their granddaughter Jordyn received through the nonprofit. Jordyn, now 21 years old, has received care from multiple programs, and currently lives at ChildServe’s long-term care program. The couple was deeply involved in ChildServe’s recent $10 million fundraising campaign, where they championed the effort to extend care for medically complex young adults like Jordyn, who previously would have “aged out” of the long-term care program. John Lundberg also served on the ChildServe board for three years.
