A second Drive-Through Winter Farmers’ and Makers’ Market is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 12 at the Principal Park parking lot. Organizers said a drive-thru market in November drew more than 500 vehicles, so to meet demand, another market was scheduled. “We originally only planned to host one Drive-Through Winter Market this year, but the first event was so popular that we saw an opportunity to meet a community need,” said Kelly Foss, director of the Downtown Farmers’ Market. According to a news release, patrons can buy late-season produce, meat, cheese, wine, artisan food, pies, pastries, bread, gifts and more. Local vendors will be set up along the perimeter of the parking lot. Customers can pre-order items online or shop in person from their vehicles. Pre-orders can be picked up beginning at 8:30 a.m. Patrons can also shop on the online marketplace and coordinate pickup with vendors who will not be at the market.
