The insurance holding company, which has operations in West Des Moines, ranked No. 22 among 100 large companies ranked. Sammons has an overall rating of 4.8 on Glassdoor, with 96 percent indicating that they would recommend the company to a friend and 99 percent approving of the CEO. To be considered for the large category, a company must have had at least 1,000 or more employees and have received at least 75 ratings across each of the eight workplace attributes.
