Des Moines Register: As one of the world’s largest meat suppliers resumed production today after a ransomware attack, its Ottumwa pork plant was still cutting some shifts. JBS SA canceled operations on the cutting room floor for the second day in a row, according to a company Facebook post. Workers with other duties, including packaging and curing meat, worked normal shifts today. Despite the continued slowdown in Ottumwa, JBS announced on Tuesday night that “the vast majority” of its beef, pork, poultry and prepared foods production in the United States would resume today. That includes the company’s Marshalltown plant, which announced in a Facebook post that its trimming operations were resuming.
