The Brewers Association held a ceremony Sept. 10 in Denver honoring winners of the 2021 Great American Beer Festival competition, including six Iowa breweries. About 9,500 entries were submitted to the judges from more than 2,100 breweries from all 50 states plus Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. The following Iowa breweries received awards: Keg Creek Brewing Co., Glenwood; Lion Bridge Brewing Co., Cedar Rapids; Marto Brewing Co, Sioux City; Peace Tree Brewing Co, Knoxville; PIVO Brewery, Calmar; and SingleSpeed Brewing, Waterloo. “The success of these Iowa breweries demonstrates the quality of product and work being done by breweries across the state,” said Iowa Brewers Guild Executive Director Noreen Otto. View award details and the complete list of winners.
