The maps, released today, are just the opening salvo in what could become a lengthy back-and-forth between the Legislature and the nonpartisan Legislative Services Agency, which draws the maps. The public will have a chance to weigh in at virtual hearings scheduled for Sept. 20, 21 and 22.
