Lyndley Kent of Neumann Monson Architects received the American Institute of Architects, Iowa Chapter’s (AIA Iowa) Iowa Young Architect Award. “The demands of young architects are enormous, particularly those with great design skill and natural leadership,” Rob Whitehead, an Iowa State University associate professor, said in a prepared statement. “While others may find softer landing spots with less responsibility during their formative first years in practice, Lyndley jumped right in, serving an essential role in project design, development, and leadership. She didn’t just meet the challenges, she thrived, and helped others achieve great success.”
