Des Moines Register: Iowa school districts can continue requiring facial coverings in the classroom for the near future after a federal judge today granted a preliminary injunction against a state law banning school mask mandates. A U.S. district judge had temporarily blocked the law Sept. 13 through a restraining order, after a group of parents of students with disabilities and a disability rights group sued. The restraining order was set to expire Monday, but the preliminary injunction will now block the law for the duration of the lawsuit.
