Due to anticipated high demand, the World Food Prize has opened applications for breakout sessions for the annual Iowa Hunger Summit earlier this year. This year’s summit, scheduled Oct. 14 in Des Moines, will host between 500 and 700 hunger fighters from across the state and will feature breakout sessions as well as student breakout sessions. Applications for the sessions will close on May 1, and applicants will be notified of their application status by June 1.
