The Innovation & Technology Showcase and opening of coworking space Salem Connection is scheduled for Feb. 26 in two locations, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 4:30 to 6 p.m. The showcase will spotlight several technologies and faculty-led STEM projects at Simpson College and in the Indianola business community, a statement by Simpson College said. Presentations include the nanotechnology startup DNP123 Co. The showcase is from 2 to 4 p.m. in Hubbell Hall at the Simpson College Kent Campus Center; a ribbon-cutting for Salem Connection will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at 222 W. Salem Ave. The events are hosted by the Emerge Foundation’s programs Emerge@Simpson and LaunchPad65, a new regional resource for entrepreneurs in south-central Iowa.
