Unemployment payments delayed
A systems processing error led to a delay in unemployment benefits for Iowans. The state is working on the issue. Iowa Workforce Development Director Beth Townsend said she learned Tuesday that Thursday’s payments would be delayed. “We apologize for any inconvenience, and will provide more information as it becomes available,” she said.
