The Iowa State University Foundation last week honored David and Marianne Spalding of Ames with the Order of the Knoll Faculty and Staff Award. The award was presented during the annual Distinguished Awards Celebration held at ISU’s Benton Auditorium. Among other accomplishments, David Spalding, the Raisbeck Endowed Dean of the Ivy College of Business, and his wife established the David and Marianne Spalding Scholarship for women majoring in business fields and support many areas of campus, including Stephens Auditorium, University Museums and the marching band.
