As 5,339 Iowa State University students prepare to cross the stage during graduation this week, the ISU Alumni Association is debuting the full commencement programs via app for the first time. The Iowa State Alumni app, available on iTunes and Google Play stores, will host the full commencement program for the four main ceremonies and is free to download. The app allowed the university to print about 10,000 fewer 140-page commencement programs this spring, said Registrar Mark Simpson. The ISU Alumni Association encourages attendees to download the app before entering Hilton Coliseum to avoid connectivity issues during the download.
