There’s been talk about adding scooters to the Des Moines transportation scene, but someone should warn DNR that a new threat to water quality may be coming. Electric scooters are certainly are all over other cities, often set up so electric rides can be rented and dropped off wherever. Now comes word that many people — especially those connected to Uber and Lyft and possibly packing a conflict of interests — are so sick of seeing the scooters all over they have taken to throwing the scooters into a river.
