Comedy club to open in downtown Des Moines
Des Moines Register: A new comedy club in downtown Des Moines aims to build up local stand-up talent and elevate the metro into the next big comedy destination. Teehee’s Comedy Club will open in October at the former Found Things location at 1433 Walnut St. Sid Juwarker, a co-owner of the club, said there is a lack of places for local comedians to regularly practice their sketches on an audience.
