Des Moines Register: A massive five-story warehouse and distribution center could bring thousands of jobs to the Des Moines metro. Going by the code name, “Project Bluejay,” the 780,000-square-foot structure would be built on more than 165 acres east of Northeast Hubbell Avenue and north of the Wolf Creek development in Bondurant. Just who is behind the massive project is unknown. Bondurant City Administrator Marketa Oliver said city officials signed nondisclosure agreements to keep the company’s name confidential. As many as 1,120 people could be employed per shift, according to city documents. Plans call for 1,800 parking spots and 200 trailer stalls.
