Des Moines Register: A training program for Missouri Valley linemen in Iowa and six surrounding states is consolidating into one center in Indianola. The Missouri Valley Line Constructors Apprenticeship and Training Program is building a $13.5 million training facility in the Indianola Industrial Park that will consolidate five training facilities across the upper Midwest into one location. A pole yard for high-voltage power lines and training structures will be spread across the grounds. When the new consolidated center is completed, the Missouri Valley Line will close its current training center in Indianola.
