Des Moines Register: Farmers who trap carbon and improve soil health while boosting productivity have a shot at another benefit: a cut of a $500,000 Corteva Agriscience challenge grant. “This is a way to acknowledge and incentivize those growers who are the real pioneers here, who are out there blazing trails,” said James Collins, CEO of Corteva Agriscience, the parent of Pioneer seed, a Johnston-based operation with about 3,000 employees in Iowa.
