Partnership wins international media award
The Greater Des Moines Partnership won a bronze award for its blog in the digital media category of the International Economic Development Council. The Excellence in Economic Development Awards are awarded for economic development programs and partnerships, marketing materials, and the year’s most influential leaders. Organizations and individuals were honored in 34 award categories noting achievements in urban, suburban and rural communities. An international panel of economic and community development officials chose the winners after 400 nominations were submitted from 12 countries.
