The Never Settle Coalition is hosting a launch party tomorrow in Des Moines. The organization explains its purpose in its event invite: “Research shows that 1 in 2 women say they’ve settled. Settled for what a partner wanted, settled for what a parent expected of them, settled for what society expected, settled for less than they deserved. The Never Settle Coalition calls attention to this issue. We invite you to join us in getting this issue out in the open, so women recognize the power to never settle resides in them and resides in the decisions they make.” The event is 5 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Bellhop, 440 E.
