Johnston’s average rental rates highest in metro area

In October, the average rental rate in Johnston was $1,140 per month, up 1.4% from September and $45 from a year ago. Ankeny saw its average rental rates increase to $1,127, up 0.4% from September. Urbandale continues to have the lowest rental rates in the metro area at $867 per month. Nationally, the average monthly rental rate is $1,476. To read the survey, click here.
