Confluence selected to lead University Avenue corridor redevelopment plan

82 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and DevelopmentThe West Des Moines City Council this month selected the Des Moines-based architecture firm Confluence to spearhead a plan to re-envision the redevelopment of roughly 650 acres between University Avenue and Interstate Highway 235 and 22nd Street/Northwest 86th Street and Interstate 35/80. The area includes Valley West Mall and University Park Shopping Center, both of which have vacant storefronts. In its proposal, Confluence estimated it would take about 10 months to complete the project. Confluence said its costs would not exceed $349,579.
