Dogtown Lights begins with a lighting block party on University Avenue, organized by the Des Moines Music Coalition. Local businesses will provide specials for attendees, and there will be live entertainment and warm refreshments. “Dogtown is becoming an exciting place to be,” said Amber Lynch, executive director of Invest DSM.
