Partnership announces lineup for Candidate Forum Series

215 wordsAll Latest News, Economic Development, Government Policy and LawThe Greater Des Moines Partnership’s Candidate Forum Series will kick off Aug. 26 and provide an opportunity for Partnership members and investors to hear directly from the candidates before the November midterm elections. Registration is open for the following forums. Click on the candidate’s name to register for the event. The seat they are running for follows their name.
- Deidre DeJear – Governor: Friday, Aug. 26 from 8– 9 a.m.
- Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks – Congress 2nd District: Monday, Oct. 3 from 2 – 3 p.m.
- Ryan Melton – Congress 4th District: Thursday, Oct. 6 from 8– 9 a.m.
- Rep.Ashley Hinson – Congress 1st District:Thursday, Oct. 6 from Noon to 1 p.m.
- Admiral Mike Franken – U.S. Senate: Thursday, Oct. 13 from 8 – 9 a.m.
- State Rep. Christina Bohannan – Congress, 1st District,: Wednesday, Oct. 19 from Noon to 1 p.m.
- Rep. Cindy Axne – Congress 3rd District: Tuesday, Oct. 25 from Noon to 1 p.m.
- Rep. Randy Feenstra – Congress 4th District: Thursday, Oct. 27 from Noon to 1 p.m.
- Sen. Chuck Grassley – Senate: Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 8– 9 a.m.
Dates for Gov. Kim Reynolds and state Sen. Zach Nunn, who is running for Congress in Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District, have not been finalized. The elections are scheduled for Nov. 8.
