T-Mobile unveils Perry as one of the next 25 Hometown Grant recipients

0 wordsAll Latest News, Economic DevelopmentT-Mobile has announced Perry as one of its 25 Hometown Grant recipients, with a $20,000 grant going toward installing an ADA-compliant playground at Wiese Park that will allow children of all abilities to play together in one space. The Perry Iowa Rotary Club Foundation submitted the project to T-Mobile’s Hometown Grants program. The five-year, $25 million initiative is meant to support people and organizations who help small towns across America thrive and grow by providing funding to kick-start community development projects. Since its launch in April 2021, T-Mobile has given more than $7.8 million to 175 communities across 41 states. Perry is the latest Iowa city to receive funding, following Mason City, Fairfield, Adel, Marshalltown, Lansing, Keokuk and Storm Lake.
