AIB College of Business has sent letters to approximately 170 students who had been accepted for the fall term, notifying them that AIB will not admit a freshman class, the school announced. The college’s trustees plan to donate the 20-acre, $30 million campus to the University of Iowa, which will run a Regional Regents Center offering degree programs from UI and perhaps the other state universities. The university will take control of the campus along Fleur Drive beginning in July 2016, if the deal is approved. AIB also sent refunds to approximately 30 students who had paid deposits.
