Tim Bungert, an architect with Brooks Borg Skiles, and Gina Verdoorn, a lawyer with Sporer & Flanagan PLLC, have been elected to the Iowa Architectural Foundation board of trustees. Members elected to the executive committee for 2015 are Eric Beron, an architect with DLR Group, past chair; Julia Gauthier, a program manager at The Weidt Group Inc., secretary; Stacey Hanley, an associate architect at OPN Architects Inc., chair; Alan Peitz, a certified public accountant at Denman & Co., treasurer; Michelle Sacco, an associate architect at RDG Planning & Design, at-large; and Gary Van Dyke, an architect at Shive-Hattery Inc., vice-chair. The Iowa Architectural Foundation, founded in 1989, promotes the awareness and appreciation of architecture and design.
