Foreclosures, mortgage delinquencies dropped in January

76 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and DevelopmentForeclosures made up 0.98 percent of active mortgages in January in Des Moines and West Des Moines, lower than the national foreclosure rate of 1.5 percent and down from the January 2014 rate of 1.6 percent, real estate analytics firm CoreLogic Inc. said today. The number of mortgages in Des Moines and West Des Moines that were at least 90 days delinquent dropped to 2.7 percent for the period, down from 3.6 percent a year ago.
