Iowa schools receive financial literacy awards

Ten Iowa schools have been selected to receive a $1,000 award from the Iowa Bankers Association and its member banks for participating in Project Financial Literacy. Project Financial Literacy is a program designed to promote financial literacy education by providing high schools with resources to measure and improve their financial literacy curriculum. The Highest Scoring School Award went to ADM Senior High School in Adel, sponsored by Raccoon Valley Bank. Southeast Polk High School in Pleasant Hill received the Highest Number of Participating Students Award. Nearly 50 Iowa high schools participated in the program this year, reaching more than 1,800 students. To see the complete list of winning schools, click here.
