Iowa Public Radio names news director
Iowa Public Radio announced today that Michael Leland will join the organization’s staff as news director. Currently, Leland is news director for Wisconsin Public Radio in Madison. Prior to that, he was news director for Michigan radio and worked with Voice of America Radio. Leland is a graduate of Curry College and received his master’s degree in journalism and mass communications from Kansas State University.
