Holmes Murphy & Associates Inc. announced that Dr. Tim Church, a leading physician in exercise and obesity research, will deliver the opening keynote address at this year’s Iowa Employment Conference on April 22 in Des Moines. Church will address conference attendees on the current state of the obesity epidemic, its financial impact to employers in Iowa and around the nation, and discuss proven methods for cutting employer costs by improving the health of their employees and slowing the production of disease. Church, director of a preventive medicine research laboratory at Louisiana State University, also leads ACAP Health, a wholly owned subsidiary of Holmes Murphy that provides employee wellness programs.
