Downtown Farmers Market kicks off this weekend
The Downtown Farmers Market will open for its 40th season this weekend. The market, which spans nine city blocks in Des Moines’ Court Avenue district, kicks off Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon. This year’s market features 36 new vendors and 26 new performers. The market runs through Oct. 31.
