DES MOINES — The 2015 LEAP Program, a series hosted by the Downtown Des Moines Chamber of Commerce designed for women business owners and women leaders in Central Iowa to position them for the next steps in their career, will hold its third event on May 15. The Business Case will include a presentation by the Nexus Executive Women’s Alliance and will give attendees a quick look at the current status of female leadership numbers and present the business case behind why it’s in a company’s self-interest to improve the gender balance on its leadership team. The event will start at 11:30 a.m. and will be held at the Holiday Inn Downtown in Des Moines. The cost is $15 for chamber members and $25 for non-members. Registration can be completed online.
