ARI Network Services Inc. announced today that it has acquired Des Moines-based Direct Communications Inc., which provides differentiated product content and electronic catalog software in the automotive aftermarket. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but all 37 Des Moines employees will keep their jobs. DCi headquarters will remain in Des Moines under the direction of Mark Toebben, who will assume the role of vice president and general manager of DCi. “The acquisition of DCi will accelerate ARI’s growth in the automotive aftermarket and is consistent with our strategy to grow the business both organically and through strategic acquisitions,” said ARI President and CEO Roy Olivier. Read more
