Django restaurant names Van Tuyl as new general manager
Orchestrate Hospitality has named Kris Van Tuyl general manager of Django restaurant. Van Tuyl previously worked as food and beverage director at the Holiday Inn Downtown, where he oversaw menu development and operations for the hotel’s full-service banquet operations and the Cityscape Lounge. Van Tuyl also is the former executive chef of Luna Bistro, an East Village restaurant, which he owned with his wife, Beth. His resume also includes stints at the Des Moines Embassy Club, Le Jardin and Occasions Made Right catering company.
