Iowa home sales were 12 percent higher in July that a year ago, and sales are occurring at the fastest pace in five years, the Iowa Association of Realtors said today.

Iowa home sales were 12 percent higher in July that a year ago, and sales are occurring at the fastest pace in five years, the Iowa Association of Realtors said today. Contracts to buy homes were up 11 percent over the year. The median sales price was up 3.4 percent over the period, to $150,000.
